PROJECT SYNOPSIS
In an alternate reality, quite similar to our own, there is a thin veil between the natural and the supernatural. With such a thin veil, the unfortunate are bound to encounter
the dark, the unsettling….the unexplained.
Incident 767: Labyrinth is a horror audio-narrative podcast following foster siblings, Sunny and Elijah, as they enroll in a “specialized” academy to alleviate their family’s burden. Soon enough they find themselves suffocatingly entwined with the supernatural.
Will they be able to unravel the secrets of the institution’s Labyrinth and survive?

Line 3
ELIJAH KAIZ
African-American, monolingual, but knows a couple Korean words.
Reserved, Decisive, Honest; Elijah would be the type of person to say “let’s split up” in a horror movie, but would be the most prepared with gadgets and gizmos.
He’s the owner of the recorder throughout the series. As a detective at heart, he’s fascinated with the supernatural and the undiscovered mysteries of the world.
He’s prone to be stubborn about investigating the supernatural, which at times leaves him unaware of his surroundings. Due to his constant bouncing from home to home, he’s a little awkward meeting new people until he finds an interest in common with them.
VOICE: Low-Medium pitch
“Ugh! That’s so mature, Sunny!
(a beat)
She’s annoying, but I know the recorder was her idea. I think she’d hate the fact that I know, but I saw her give dad a pouch of coins. Honestly, she shouldn’t have. It’s already hard enough.”
“This might be my last chance to figure out what’s going on!”
“When I talked to him it wasn’t like he couldn’t describe it, but more like he would get lost in thought and wouldn’t even start.”

Line 3
SUNNY CHOI
Korean-American, bilingual, but doesn’t speak Korean well.
Sarcastic, Practical, and Loyal; Sunny would not “check out the basement” in a horror movie, but would jump in front of danger to protect her family.
Orphaned at 8-yo, Sunny was fostered into the same household later than her foster brother Elijah.
She’s outspoken about others, but guarded about her own feelings.
She has adopted a “blissfully unaware” attitude to the supernatural.
VOICE: Medium pitch
“Yeah, a story. Not some creepy conspiracy theory.(pauses) You’re right. My bad. You did some good storytelling.”
“I don’t get it. I don’t get Arthur. He can’t think we’re that naive.”
“Snap out of it. Fuck!”

Line 3
PETER BROWN
White-American, monolingual.
Haughty, Naive, Confident; Peter is your typical haughty rich kid, with a massive crush on his colleague, Marie.
Peter has a strong sense of self-preservation, so he would definitely trip someone to get away in a horror movie.
However, with survival skills that back up his over-confidence, he will attempt to “white knight” winnable situations.
VOICE: Low-Medium pitch
“It’s the walkie’s fault. I’ve done this like a thousand times before.”
“You’re right Marie. We really got to fix that.”
“I have no problem putting you in your place.”
